Catch Me if You Can

Last night I watched the movie “Catch Me if You Can” starred by Tom Hanks and Leonardo DiCaprio.
It is based on a true story that happened in the 60s. The movie may be a bit slow but I enjoyed the storyline very much.
The Gist: A brilliant rich teenager not able to accept his loving parent’s divorce, resulted from his father’s tax investigation which led to a change of lifestyle that his mother could not live with, got himself into making fake cheques in hope to restore wealth so that the family is together again.
The Ending: He got caught by the FBI who eventually turned him into a FBI agent so that his expertises in fake cheques are not wasted.
Excellent show!
To me, the moral of the story:
Always find out the roots of a crime
Understand the true character of the criminal
Give a second chance to those who deserve
There is always a reason why a person turns out to be what he is today. If we care enough to learn why, we may be able to guide the person back to the right path of life even though he had started off the wrong footing.
There is no take two in life but there is always a second chance for the deserving.
And the deserving must also recognise that after every sunset there will be a sunrise the next day. One must decide if they want to remain standing or take a fresh step forward in life…. and change…
